Dr. Okezie Victor Chibuike Ikpeazu is the incumbent executive governor of Abia, God’s Own State and he is serving his second and last tenure expiring in 2023. Then it would be said that he emerged and walked in the footsteps of his predecessors in office.

In 30 years Abia, God’s Own State and people have been groping in the darkness of self denial and the question is whybut we are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that we may proclaim the Excellencies of Him who called us out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once we were not a people, but now we are God’s people; why we not manifesting the blessings embedded in our heritage?

Whenever the people of God are in apparent loss of their covenant blessings, the remedy is always in the people’s humility and repentance with respect to – the PRIESTHOOD/ LEADERSHIP, which in our case has remained self-serving and absolutely corrupt; WORSHIP, which in our case has gone to the evil alters of petty principalities and fetish powers; SOCIAL JUSTICE; which has been completely unavailable.

Shall we continue to sit and watch???
